4th of July BBQ

Hello all! So, we figured there just hasn't been enough BBQ's this week, so we're adding another one! Wahoo!!

But really, for one, it's a holiday & it comes with fireworks after; two, I don't know about you but I could never have enough BBQ's; and three, just bring a different kind of meat and it's like a whole new meal.

Anyway, here's the deal:

What: BBQ followed by fabulous fireworks over by the DATC in Kaysville (which happens to be walking distance from the BBQ location)

When: Friday, July 4th. BBQ @ 7pm and Fireworks are usually around 9:30, 10ish I think.

Where: Dustin Thackeray and Casey Bullock's houseAddress is: 841 E 250 S, Kaysville. Directions from Highway 89, turn west onto Green Street, at the stop sign turn right continuing on Green Street, then take the first left again continuing on Green Street, then turn left on 900 E, then right on 250 S. House is near the end of the street on the right hand side.

What to bring: Hamburgers will be provided but something to share would be great; blankets for fireworks; & games if you so desire.If you can't make the BBQ or have other plans, just come for the fireworks. If you have any questions, let us know and we hope to see you Friday!

OK, people...Mark is moving to Provo in August, and John is marrying my sister in September, so this could be the last big casa party with the current lineup. Volunteer Work

The Bountiful Temple is looking for sisters to work in the Youth Center on Saturday mornings. It's a 2 hour time commitment on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th (if there is a fifth) Saturdays of each month. It's really a fun job. You watch/play with the children that are waiting to be sealed to their parents, then you dress them in their white clothes and take them upstairs to be sealed. You must be endowed for this volunteer position. Contact Kayla Bernard at 801-296-2686.

The u of u activites are hosting a drive-in up at the Universtiy of Utah Institute. This is one event you DO NOT want to miss out on. The Rockin' Dancin' Drive-In will include a BBQ, huge dance, and of course two movies, Enchanted and National Treasures 2. The movies will start when it gets dark, but if you want a spot for your car ya better get there early. So invite all of your facebook, phone, neighborhood friends and bring a love sac, couch, or whatever ya want to watch the movies. This will be just like the drive in and yes you will even tune in on your radio to hear the movies :)

Kalai and Band have partnered with Education 4 Everyone and will help benefit the Zambia Scholarship Fund. The benefit concert will start at 8 pm on the University of Utah campus at the Social & Behavioral Auditorium (RM 101).
