Party at the Pad and you're invited! Bring your date, your friend, your friends of friends, and a treat! Come watch Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with some of your favorite friends! Us! Okay, so we can't guarantee Dick Clark will be on TV but it will for sure be a countdown to remember! There will also be plenty of people to meet and some fun treats to eat. We had a terrific turn out at our Halloween Party and expect an even bigger and better turn out for this New Year's Eve Party!

Hot Chocolate Carnival

Hot Chocolate Carnaval:

Scott and I are putting on a little hot chocolate party/open house planned for Tuesday night (Dec 18th) at my place in West Kaysville. Bring your own favorite flavor of hot chocolate, or sample our collection. We'll have some snacks/treats to compliment the hot chocolate.

The get together will be between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. I hope you all can make it. Pass the word around and invite whomever you wish.

The address is 1614 W. Leola Street, Kaysville. For those who know where Bryan Hill lives, my street is one block north of the street (Ramola Street) he lives on.

Directions: head west on 200 North in Kaysville. The construction just off the freeway makes it a bit interesting to find, but it isn't too bad. As you go under I-15, stay in the right lane heading west. The road curves in front of the car dealership and goes over the railroad tracks to 900 West (aka, Kays drive). Turn left at 900 West. Turn right when you get to the stop light. You should be back on 200 North. Head west for one mile until you hit a stop sign. Put the stop sign back up, and then turn left onto Angel Street. Drive south, one mile on Angel. You'll see a Church of Christ on your right side. Leola Street is right there. Turn right onto Leola. My home is half way down the street on the right. Welcome to Social Bug

Hey, I'm your new social secretary. Welcome to our blog.

I will be here to serve you and provide you with any information you might be looking for.

When I dreamt up this blog idea I thought it'd be great if this site could be one of your first places to look for a roommate, a job, or something to do this weekend. I understand I won't be able to provide as much information as craigslist, or other huge sights. One benefit of our small corner of cyberspace will be that you know who you are dealing with here, no scary people allowed.

This blog is still in the trial stage. I want to try it out and see if it works. If it doesn't, I'm back to mass emails and a bunch of texting. With your help, I think this will actually become a really great network for our ward. I will post anything and everything you want me to, so please email me at mysocialbug@hotmail.com with anything you may be looking for or anything you want me to pass along.

To those of you who haven't used a blog before, it is easy! Play around, you'll catch on quick.

I'll post some entries so you can see how it works. Since it isn't a website with the capability of creating different pages I will label each entry 'job' 'info' 'roommate' 'party' etc. Then on the side bar where the labels are listed you will be able to search the entries for the info you are looking for.
