When I dreamt up this blog idea I thought it'd be great if this site could be one of your first places to look for a roommate, a job, or something to do this weekend. I understand I won't be able to provide as much information as craigslist, or other huge sights. One benefit of our small corner of cyberspace will be that you know who you are dealing with here, no scary people allowed.
This blog is still in the trial stage. I want to try it out and see if it works. If it doesn't, I'm back to mass emails and a bunch of texting. With your help, I think this will actually become a really great network for our ward. I will post anything and everything you want me to, so please email me at mysocialbug@hotmail.com with anything you may be looking for or anything you want me to pass along.
To those of you who haven't used a blog before, it is easy! Play around, you'll catch on quick.
I'll post some entries so you can see how it works. Since it isn't a website with the capability of creating different pages I will label each entry 'job' 'info' 'roommate' 'party' etc. Then on the side bar where the labels are listed you will be able to search the entries for the info you are looking for.
